We're here to help you with the entire process and guide you through the options, so that you have the time, space and resources you need to arrange a funeral that befits both the person that has died and those who have been left behind.

Every funeral should be as unique as the person it is for.

All our personal yet professional services are based on your wishes and are designed to be as flexible as possible to enable you to have the best funeral service. We are proud to serve London and beyond.

We don't do packages, but below are some examples of our services and related costs to help you choose the type of service you would like.

REPATRIATION EXAMPLE FEE

  • Embalming as per legal requirement

  • Direct transfer of the person who has died to the relevant airport

Religious Service Example Fee

  • Cremation fee at The City of London Crematorium (after 10am)
  • Provision of a funeral director & bearers
  • Transfer of the person who has died to a place of worship followed by committal at The City of London Crematorium in our hearse

Green & Eco-Friendly Funeral Example Fee

  • Attending to all necessary arrangements, including liaising with third parties, collating the legal documentation & collection from a local address during office hours

  • Care of the person who has died prior to the funeral

  • Opportunity for the family to wash & dress the person who has died

  • Provision of a funeral director & bearers on the day of the funeral

  • Transfer of the person who has died to the burial ground

  • Eco coffin (cardboard or natural material)

  • Does not include celebrant or priest

  • Does not include grave fees

DIRECT CREMATION FEE

  • A Direct Cremation is a cremation with no service and is unattended

  • At Compassionate Funerals you have the opportunity to have a small gathering and spend time with the person who has died prior to the cremation in our family room

  • You can have your loved one dressed in their own clothes and will be able to place person items in the coffin with them
  • We will work with you to find a date that feels right
  • The price is inclusive of all fees and includes a simple jute coffin
  • Our Direct Cremations take place at Manor Park Crematorium - it is possible to arrange it at other crematoriums but this will incur additional fees

Essential Costs

£1,900 - Professional Fees (from)

This includes:

​An initial meeting with us, at our premises or a local address.

​Advice and help throughout the funeral arranging process.

​Collection, care, washing, and dressing of the person who has died.

​Spending time with the person who has died in our peaceful family room.

​Overseeing of legal paperwork.

​Liaising with all external parties (celebrant, venues, priest etc) to ensure the funeral ceremony reflects your wishes.

​Our full support and presence on the day of the funeral.

      Friends or family members can also carry the coffin. Full instruction and supervision will be given.

    Third Party Fees

    Vehicles

      £380 - Hearse (3hrs)

      £380 - Limousine (3hrs)

      £1,450 - Horse Drawn (two horses + carriage)

      £100 - Extra time per hour per vehicle

    Weekend surcharges may apply

    Other Costs

      £350 - Out of Hours Collection

      Out of office hours view/wash/Puja - £150 first hour, £100 per extra hour

      £550 - Take into Church or Home (separate from funeral day)

      Friends or family members can also carry the coffin. Full instruction and supervision will be given.
