FINANCIAL SUPPORT

A death in the family can cause huge financial problems for those left behind: even for those who have set aside funds. The pressures of trying to pay for unexpected funeral costs is the most quoted causes of depression or helplessness for many people who are bereaved.

As your appointed funeral director, our priority is to ensure you stay within your financial means whilst placing the wishes of your deceased loved one foremost.

We work with Down to Earth, the Quaker Social Action Financial Support group.  If you are worried about the cost of a funeral you can access their helpful resources HERE, or refer yourself, a family member, or a friend to their service using these contact details:

DEATH CAFE

Working as a key partner with Redbridge Libraries and as part of the Dying Matters festival, we are proud to host regular Death Cafés at the various library locations.

Whether you’ve experienced the loss of a loved one, want to share your perceptions on the concept of finite endings, or want to celebrate life and living, come and join us for inspiring, supportive, and life-affirming discussions in a relaxed setting and over tea and cake.

WORKSHOPS

We offer a range of tailor-made workshops designed to enhance understanding of the needs of different communities in relation to religious rites and basic burial etiquette.

As well as a Funeral Awareness Training programme specifically designed for staff working in care homes and care agencies, we also deliver workshops on Funeral Planning and honouring wishes; including information on different religious funeral rites such as Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, and Muslim funerals.

We are always happy to come and talk about any aspect of the funeral industry you would like more information about.
